Katherine Glover is a writer, journalist, performer and storyteller. Though she spends ridiculous amounts of time in other places all over the world, she considers Minnesota's Twin Cities home.
Journalist
Katherine covers immigration, food and agriculture, and the GLBT community, with an emphasis on bisexual and transgender topics. She's written for the Associated Press, Salon.com and Sierra Magazine, and she received her master's from the Medill School of Journalism with a focus on business and economics reporting.
Performer
Katherine is the creator of three solo storytelling shows, which she has performed at theater festivals throughout the U.S. and Canada. She's also appeared on Minnesota Public Radio's "In The Loop" and featured at numerous Minneapolis comedy shows and spoken word events, including the Monday Night Comedy Show, Women Stand Up! and Cheap Theatre. She's on the board of the Northstar Storytelling League and will be producer for this year's festival, Tellabration! 2011.
